The Big Picture July 19th, 2011

OVERVIEW
Encourage and facilitate team building with this unconventional and fun project. It starts with individual participants, each taking small parts, who together complete a visual art design. At the end, your company and your employees will get “The Big Picture.” Just 15 minutes of your employees’ time is needed to ensure a successful collaborative painting. Your “artists” will achieve your goal of working as a team. They will be instilled with the self-satisfaction and knowledge that they all contributed to create a professional painting; one which you will proudly and prominently display in your company’s offices.
The BIG PICTURE is suitable for:
- team cohesion
- conference support (fun time)
- fundraising
- 10-150 participants
- half-day, full day
OBJECTIVES
- to demonstrate the importance of each individual’s contribution to attain corporate goals
- to reinforce the concepts of Cooperation, Collaboration and Teamwork
- to show participants in a new way the significance of the concept of “executing the plan.” A blank canvas is transformed into a piece of art
- to communicate the importance of individual effort through the actual experience of each person applying paint to a small section of the canvas
- to convey to each representative the responsibility for picking up the brush and doing their part. Each brush stroke is meaningful and critical to achieve the common goal
