Another victim that I met at a fund raiser in West Palm Beach. The pattern that surrounds him is his owners patchwork pants, along with the ribbons tied around his neck my paintbrush was being summoned. I believe he is an English Springer Spaniel!

I spoke to my sister Saturday (she lives in Chicago) and it was SNOWING! Yes snowing in April! So as I sat down to paint, I decided to paint my recent memory of Chicago and snow, but this was during the Holidays.

Preparing by practicing for a workshop in two weeks! I think this is a good image generally for most people…we’ll see!

Saw these guys at a fundraiser for the Humane Society! The one on the left was giving the one on the right a little love bite!

I was debating whether or not to try painting this image I had of Charlie with sunglasses. I know it’s a bit cheesy but one can only learn by taking risks. In the meantime I am bidding on a townhouse today and I am feeling very anxious. It means that I will be moving again for the third time in less than three years! YUCK! At least this will be the last time for a LOOONNNGGG time.

Yes this is my handsome man Charlie! His smile is the true meaning of simple and pure happiness! I know that sounds corny but it is true!

This certainly did not turn out with what I originally envisioned. Learning when to quit take more talent than painting!

I tried a new technique with this painting that I learned on a Video from David Shevlino. I laid down linseed oil on the canvas board before I painted. It gives the painting process a much looser feeling to it. Loved Loved Loved working like this!

I went to a fundraiser for animals in a very swanky area in West Palm Beach. It was quite a scene to see the dog owners dress up their dogs as well as themselves for this event.

I cut out a lot of background information thanks to one of my favorite artists that my painting class has been studying this week, Wayne Thiebaud.
